BCR Environmental Announces New Chairman

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., May 10, 2017—BCR Environmental Corporation (BCR),a proven innovator of technologies for the advanced treatment and conversion of wastewater and organic waste, today announced that its board of directors has appointed Robert (Rob) Andrews P. Eng. as chairman. Andrews succeeds Aaron Zahn who has been chairman of the board since 2015 and will continue to serve as CEO and a member of the board.

Prior to joining BCR, Rob was president and CEO of the Ontario Clean Water Agency (OCWA), a provincial agency that operates and maintains approximately 500 water and wastewater treatment systems that serve over 5 million people. Before joining OCWA, Rob was CEO of Global Water at AECOM, the world’s largest water engineering and design-build business with 6,000 employees and annual revenues exceeding $1 billion. Additional operational experience includes serving as executive vice president of Earth Tech’s global water projects and products division responsible for design, technology, equipment, construction, financing and operations of municipal water systems throughout the world.

Rob’s project experience includes engineering and project management for some of the world’s largest water and wastewater treatment systems including Toronto, Peel Region, Boston, New York, Chicago, Washington, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Sydney and London. In addition to conventional Design Bid Build method of project delivery, Rob has extensive global experience in P3 including concessions in Brazil, UK, China (PRC), Australia and North America as well as other alternative delivery models such as program management, design-build and design-build-operate.
